About the School

Please read this letter from Clare, our Chair of Governors. 

Harcourt Primary is a family-orientated, one-form entry school with a private nursery attached. Graded ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted in February 2017, we place great emphasis on an holistic approach to education. We encourage all children to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. We work closely with parents and the local community to promote and provide family learning. The school is set in extensive grounds with large playing fields, wild garden and ponds.  We are a healthy school and also hold the Eco Schools Silver Award, Active Mark and Basic Skills Quality Mark. We are currently developing our Forest School Provision.

Our children enjoy a vast range of activities including a year 6 Residential, Harcourts Got Talent and Charivari to name a few. Please take the time to enjoy our Year 6 Residential slideshow below where the children went to Isle of Wight.
