Every day inspires children in this happy little Church of England school to achieve more.

We are looking for an aspiring or existing Head of School who will lead us forward with enthusiasm and dedication to the role, guiding and supporting a close-knit team of experienced staff.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership career; as a small school, you will rapidly acquire experience in every aspect of Headship - from finessing the finances to improving delivery of the curriculum, from supporting teachers to representing the school. You will get to know each and every pupil and ensure they all benefit from an individualised education. There will also be an opportunity to develop and establish a collaboration-wide role, focused on raising standards in all four schools, with the Executive Headteacher.

As part of the Unitas Collaboration, which is already on a journey to form a Multi Academy Trust, you will be well supported by an experienced Executive Head Teacher and an established network of experienced Heads as well as a great deal of community support surrounding the school. Governors are actively involved in the school and share the ethos and vision. You will benefit from advice and retreats offered by the diocese reflecting a belief that the wellbeing of everybody is of paramount importance. The Friends of Borden (FOBs) is an active Parent/teacher association, organising several events each term and generating a valuable additional income stream.

If you would like to visit the school to learn more, please contact the school office on 01795 472593. We can arrange a time to suit you and you will have the opportunity to speak with the current Head of School, the Executive Head Teacher and the chair of governors.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
