We are a two-form entry Church of England Primary Single Academy Trust. We have two forms in Year R, 1, 2, 3 and 4 and we will complete our expansion in September 2018.
We are oversubscribed with waiting lists for every year. Our most recent Ofsted in July 2015 rated us Outstanding in all areas.
St. John's serves the, primarily owner occupied, areas of Grove Green, Weavering and Bearsted Park and the Ecclesiastical parish of Boxley (subject to Admissions criteria), situated to the east of Maidstone.
Our school opened in September 1987. It is well resourced with extensive grounds.
We are staffed with very caring, positive, enthusiastic, hardworking teachers, TAs, support staff, and Governing Body all of whom work as a team. The Friends of St John’s (a registered charity) work hard to support and enhance the school.
Our core values of Trust, Forgiveness, Friendship and Compassion are at the centre of all we do.
We are alive to the current government thinking for schools and proactively consider our future status and development.
