Senacre Wood is a single form entry, urban primary school, situated under 4 miles from the centre of the County Town of Maidstone.  Set in substantial grounds, adjacent to woodland, the school benefits from excellent resources, a hard working supportive staff and enthusiastic and well-motivated children.

'Senacre Wood pupils are a credit to the school.  They are polite, friendly and caring and enjoy coming to school' (Ofsted, January 2016).

The school has a strong family feel and a caring, nurturing ethos.  There is a tangible feeling of everyone working together as a community where achievement and high expectations are encouraged and celebrated.  Teachers know their pupils well and as a result, they approach their work with good levels of independence and creativity across a broad and balanced curriculum.
