Sellindge Primary is sited on the A20 between Ashford and Folkestone. It is ideally placed for access to Junction 11 on the M20 and quick links to Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone, London, Folkestone, Dover and the continent. The high speed rail service HS1 35 mins to London from Ashford. Ashford, only seven miles away, is rapidly expanding with new housing developments and has a Designer Outlet Centre as well as the usual town shops and amenities.

The village is part of the North Downs West Ward (of Shepway District Council).  It is adjacent to the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sellindge has a Sports Centre which includes Tennis, Football, Bowls and a refurbished Children’s play area.  There are also a large range of Clubs and other activities that welcome new members. 

There are many footpaths for walkers and local attractions include a local pub, the Dukes Head, with a good reputation for food and other pubs / restaurants within two to three miles offering a range of food also with excellent reputations. Sellindge is close to the village of Lympne famous for its Castle and superb views over the Romney Marsh and Royal Military Canal. Nearby is Port Lympne Reserve run by The Aspinall Foundation.
Westenhanger Station and Castle are only a few minutes drive away. 

We are only sixteen miles from Canterbury, famous for its Cathedral, Marlowe Theatre, Shopping, Howletts Animal Park and Universities.
Nearby Folkestone offers the Coastal Park, Harbour Arm, Creative Centre, Tower Theatre, Leas Cliff Hall and the Quarterhouse Arts Venue amongst its attractions.
