King’s Farm Primary School is a school with a vision; a vision to go far and “be the best that we can be”!
We are a two form entry, friendly community school with 340 Primary age pupils on roll with Early Years Foundation Stage provision in both Nursery and Reception. Our Nursery has 60 part time pupils on roll and includes provision for able children and those with profound, severe and complex learning needs to access the Early Years curriculum together supported by specialist staff.
Governors agreed that in order to provide the best opportunities and outcomes for our pupils, federation with Ifield School would provide a unique and distinctive opportunity. Staff continue to be focused on further improving standards using the specialist skills and expertise of the staff at Ifield School to maximise learning outcomes.
The federation with Ifield School offers a wealth of opportunities for CPD for all staff. Regular training and development courses are available to professionals and families and are held at the Ifield Smile Centre.
Two positive HMI reports in January 2015 and May 2015, reflect the significant improvements the school is making. We are a well-resourced school and offer excellent professional development opportunities for all staff. The sharing of best practice and the opportunity of collaborative working with organisations such as the Thames Teaching Alliance ensure that staff are highly skilled and motivated to achieve positive outcomes for all pupils in Gravesham.
King's Farm School is committed to the wellbeing and safety of children and offers them an inclusive environment in which to learn. We have a hard-working team of staff who work together to provide a stimulating environment and raise standards of academic performance and behaviour. As an extended school we offer a variety of programmes for children and their families. We believe that King’s Farm brings something special to the children who attend and as a whole school we are committed to ensuring that every pupil leaves us fully prepared for the world that awaits them.
The staff are highly motivated to support each pupil and value their contribution to the school. We are ever mindful of our motto of ‘being the best that we can be’ – the pupil is at the centre of all we do and we are proud of our children and of their many achievements.
