Owing to our Headteacher moving on after 13 successful years; 81 enthusiastic children and everyone else connected with this small community primary school, are seeking to welcome an inspiring, creative and strategic leader.  Our small size means that we are close-knit community with an ideal opportunity for candidates who want to lead a school at the heart of village life. 

The most recent Ofsted inspection concluded that Lydden “provides its pupils with a good quality of education” and that “Pupils have good attitudes to learning and school life as a whole.”  We are seeking an innovative headteacher with a hands-on approach, who has a vision for how our school can become outstanding.
