Aylesham Primary School was judged to be good by OFSTED at their last visit and everyone is poised and ready for a new leader to move us on to the next stage of our development.  There is a strong teaching team in the school, children who love to learn and a whole community who want the very best for their children. 

Aylesham Primary School serves the community of Aylesham Village. The whole area is currently being developed and alongside the new houses which are under construction there is to be a new school building as part of the Government's Priority Schools Programme.   There are currently 216 children in the school but this number is set to rise rapidly over the next 5 years and the new building will have the capacity for 420 children.

The salary range offered reflects the current size of the school and will be reviewed as the roll rises.

The school is Federated with Vale View in Dover. The two schools work closely together sharing expertise, ideas and support whilst maintaining their individuality.  Collaboration across the schools is a strength of the Federation.

There is a strong and dedicated Governing Body working alongside both schools who will welcome  you and support you throughout our journey together.
