At Castle Hill we aim to provide children with the best possible educational journey. We believe very passionately that learning should be creative and enjoyable whilst enabling every child to reach their full potential.
The children in our school make good progress and this is something that we are delighted with. We have an excellent staff team that caters to the individual needs of our children and ensuring that they receive the appropriate guidance and support.
Castle Hill Village Nursery is run as a Community Interest Company, CIC, to provide affordable childcare for children from 3 months to 4 years of age.
The Family Hub offers additional facilities to our nursery including external services such as ante-natal clinics, breast-feeding clinic and adult education courses, a crèche, holiday activities and a sensory room.
As a school community, we all agreed that we would like to introduce BSL to our curriculum. Governors, staff, children and parents/carers all voted strongly in favour of this change.
As a school with a number of deaf and hearing-impaired children, we are used to seeing trained staff signing in lessons, assemblies, playtimes, lunchtimes etc. What could be better than all children learning to sign? We believe this makes a really inclusive school.
At Castle Hill we aim to encourage children to be the best that they can be. We encourage not only personal effort and achievement but also respect and understanding of those around them.

The school provides excellent CPD opportunities for staff. There is a culture where senior leaders support subject and middle leaders well in all areas of their professional development.
