Towers School and Sixth Form Centre is a large, thriving standalone academy located at the northern end of Ashford, serving a wide community with over 35 feeder schools. Founded in 1967, the school has grown steadily and is now home to nearly 200 staff and a student body that is oversubscribed across all year groups. Our Sixth Form continues to expand rapidly, with post-16 results improving year on year, reflecting the ambition and achievement of our learners.

We are proud of our excellent facilities and ongoing investment in the school environment. In the past decade, Towers has secured over £5 million in CIF funding, including the development of a new £2.5 million science block. Our campus also boasts outstanding sporting provision, with a 3G pitch, two sports halls, and extensive outdoor space. Technology is at the heart of learning, supported by over 500 Chromebooks and three dedicated IT suites.

The school enjoys exceptional stability, with a highly experienced Senior Leadership Team and very low staff turnover. This strong foundation enables us to maintain high standards of teaching and pastoral care, ensuring every child thrives. Our welfare provision is enhanced by the Rosa and Rashford Centres, which provide specialist support for students with additional needs, offering tailored interventions and mentoring in a nurturing environment.

We are proud of our reputation as a forward-thinking, inclusive and ambitious academy, where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment.
