The Governing Body at Lamberhurst St Mary’s Primary School is looking to appoint a headteacher who shares our vision of nurturing the potential in everyone and aspires to the school values of Community, Aspiration and Resilience. We are seeking an individual who will continue to drive school improvement, supported by a dedicated Senior Leadership Team and staff.
We want our new headteacher to have the ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders. They need to be reflective, able to challenge positively and lead change effectively.
To realise this, we wish to appoint an innovative and motivated leader who will strive to achieve excellence in every area of the school. A professional who can provide a positive and enriching experience of education for children. Someone who can ensure the whole school community achieves their full potential, by developing leaders, teachers and staff ensuring continuous school improvement and professional development.
We Are Looking For:
• A qualified teacher with leadership experience at a senior level, with experience in school improvement.
• A proven record of raising standards and achieving excellent academic outcomes, even in challenging circumstances.
• Strong strategic vision and the ability to translate this into an impactful and clear school improvement plan, focused on addressing identified areas.
• Experience of communicating and working effectively in partnership with parents, carers, governors, and the wider community.
• The ability to build strong relationships, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of openness and trust.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all staff & children.
