Located in the heart of Ramsgate, Ellington Infant School is a vibrant and welcoming school dedicated to providing high-quality early years and Key Stage 1 education. We focus on child-centered learning, fostering curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Our Curriculum

We offer a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum designed to meet the needs of all learners. Our approach to education is rooted in hands-on experiences, play-based learning, and the development of essential skills. Key focus areas include:

- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): A stimulating, play-based curriculum that nurtures curiosity and social skills.

- Key Stage 1: A structured and engaging curriculum incorporating English, Maths, Science, Art, and more.

- Outdoor Learning: Opportunities for children to learn through exploration and nature-based activities.

- Emotional Well-being & Nurture Principles: Embedding the Nurture UK principles to support children’s mental health and social development.

We aim to provide children with an education that is creative, enjoyable and relevant and is tailored to meet individual needs. We seek to provide a caring atmosphere in which everyone can develop and grow in confidence. The whole staff team work to support children to be the best they can be, and act as positive role models showing respect for all individuals.
