Laddingford is a small, welcoming village within the Parish of Yalding, surrounded by beautiful countryside midway between Maidstone and Tonbridge. The Primary School and Chequers Pub are at the heart of the village and join together for many social and fundraising events throughout the year. Within the Parish, there is a post office, library, doctor’s surgery, village shop and tea rooms, as well as many sports and social groups.
The town of Paddock Wood is around a 10 minute drive from the school and offers a Waitrose, Tesco Metro and independent department store, as well as a number of useful small shops and cafes. Paddock Wood station offers direct services to London and the Kent coast. In addition, the nearby train stations at Beltring and Yalding offer services to Maidstone, Strood, Paddock Wood and Tonbridge.
Slightly further afield, about a 20 minute drive in opposite directions, you will find Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells or Maidstone, which all provide a good selection of high street shops, a number of superstores, restaurants and numerous entertainment venues.
