An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint an inspirational, highly-motivated and dedicated Head of School at our unique primary school. This is a full-time, permanent position. 

The position would be ideal for a proven senior leader who is looking to take the next step in their career, in the knowledge that they will have support from an Executive Headteacher and that they will benefit from the many advantages of being part of a Multi-Academy Trust. 

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to commence the role in Term 5 (April 2023).

Are you committed to ensuring pupils’ high academic achievement as well as outstanding personal development opportunities? 
Do you have the skills to lead colleagues effectively and facilitate excellent CPD?
Are you passionate about inclusive education and meeting the needs of every child?

 

We are looking for someone who will:

Have proven leadership experience, positively impacting on pupil outcomes and wellbeing
Build on the successes of our recent ‘Good’ Ofsted in March 2022
Understand how children learn best and a firm grounding in research-based practice
Apply best practice in inclusive education in order to meet the needs of children with a range of SEND needs
Have experience effectively coaching, mentoring & working alongside others to enhance practice across the school
Be able to confidently and calmly run the school and the SRP on a day-to-day basis
Employ excellent interpersonal skills, supporting colleagues, parents and pupils to make a great team and improve provision
Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of pupils in an area of coastal disadvantage and fully embrace the diverse community
Be able to shape curriculum development to ensure that the curriculum offer effectively meets the needs of all pupils
Show optimism, positivity and ambition for the school, its pupils and the Trust
