Local Area
Our location near the bustling Camden Road gives us great walking access to St Barnabas Church, the local Mosque, a range of eclectic local businesses (including farm shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and small independent shops) and the large and historic Grosvenor and Hilbert Recreation ground, which was awarded a Heritage Lottery grant of £2.3m in late 2013 to develop its community facilities.
The diverse community which the school serves belies the stereotype sometimes associated with the town.
Instead we think of Tunbridge Wells as family friendly, full of green space and having a cultural and business life of its own, not that of a commuter dormitory town.
The location of Tunbridge Wells in the beautiful Weald of Kent gives us the scope for school trips in the countryside, as well as being within striking distance of London.
