Bower Grove School is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Finance Manager as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role:

As the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing our Finance strategies across the School. This includes line managing the finance team as well as being responsible for the financial management of the school ensuring all KCC regulations and legislative requirements are met for the school budget.  You will oversee all finance administration. You'll work closely with the Headteacher to implement best practices and continuously improve our finance processes to ensure the school budget is well managed throughout the year.

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone passionate with great initiative, is forward thinking, and has a can-do attitude. Outstanding attention to detail is a must and ideally, we would like someone who understands the scheme for schools.  We're open to flexible working arrangements and would consider a full time or term time only position for the right candidate.

Work Hours:

This is a full-time position, with 37 hours per week. Core hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 3.30PM. However, we're flexible and open to adjusting hours based on individual preferences and needs.

Bower Grove is a Foundation Day Special School for statemented pupils with learning and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) including social communication difficulties and anxiety. We offer a unique teaching and learning environment and committed staff and pupils.
