SITE MANAGER, starting September 2021

Salary: Kent Range 6 (currently £20,585 to £22,469)

37 Hours per week

Here at Tunbury, we are looking to appoint a site manager for our wonderful school.  If you are hard working, skilled and dependable, then we want you!

This is a full-time post, with hours of work being 10am-6pm Monday-Thursday, and 10am-5.30pm Friday.  However, we are able to offer some flexibility in working hours and depending on the needs of the site at the time, it might sometimes be beneficial for our site manager to work an earlier shift from 8am-4pm.  This post does not involve a 'split' daily shift.

We can offer a professional and friendly setting, with people who work hard to make Tunbury a very special place to be.

The site manager is responsible for general maintenance as well as ensuring the smooth running of the school, including managing the cleaners and liaising with outside contractors.  Skills in carpentry and plumbing are important for day-to-day maintenance issues.  Supervisory experience is needed to line manage and direct other staff.

The successful candidate must also have the ability to uphold the school’s positive image within the school community and want to make a difference to children’s lives. It is essential that any individual who applies is flexible, enthusiastic and has good communication skills.

To apply for this position please complete and return the online form via Kent-Teach.
