Chevening CE Primary School needs to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our staff team; someone who loves to inspire and support our children and enjoys working in a strong team. We need someone who can work from 8.30 am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday. This talented person needs to be able to work in a class supporting the children's learning alongside the class teacher as well as leading interventions independently with a group of children.
This role would suit an experienced teaching assistant or a graduate who is considering teaching in the future and would like to be fully immersed in the life of a school for a year before training to teach. We are particularly interested in interviewing candidates with an interest in SEN, for example dyslexia or ASD. Chevening School has been a National Support School and we are experienced at training colleagues at all levels and helping people to train as teachers.
