Borough Green Primary School are pleased to be recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager for our on-site early years setting, Steps to School Day Nursery. The setting provides all-year round care, a pre-school and breakfast and after school club. Steps to School has an excellent reputation and was rated ‘good’ during its last inspection and is part of a successful school in the heart of Borough Green, Sevenoaks. The setting is fully supported by the school and works in partnership enabling the Nursery Manager to focus on what is most important, the children. The role will involve providing high quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 11 Years. The Deputy Manager needs to promote a solid foundation of good practice for staff and parents and ensure smooth operational systems are implemented and maintained and professional relationships are fostered with all concerned parties. They will also be expected to take full responsibility for the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager. You will be working as part of a senior team, will have opportunities for CPD and will be fully supported by both the Nursery Manager and the Headteacher.
