We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher to lead the federated schools of Nonington CE Primary and Goodnestone CE Primary. This is an exciting opportunity to build on the successful work of the previous Headteacher and take both schools forward into their next chapter.

The schools are located in the picturesque countryside of East Kent just 2 miles apart and 20 minutes drive from Canterbury. An exciting time for both schools with a new build at Nonington CE Primary, development of the outdoor areas and a strong staff. Both schools benefit from woodland classrooms which are an integral part of every child’s educational experience there, with woodland lessons and experiences embedded within the curriculum. As two of the smaller schools in the Canterbury Diocese, there is a warm family feel with distinctive Christian vision, standards and character.

We are looking to recruit a Headteacher who:

Has excellent leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills

Has an ability to develop and implement strategies to enable both schools to grow
Is able to inspire staff, pupils, parents to realise the vision for both schools
A commitment to strengthen and build links with the local community
