Local Area

Situated on the Kent / Surrey border lies our wonderful Primary School in the beautiful village of Crockham Hill. The village lies in lovely countryside on the Greensand Ridge with magnificent views over the Weald. 

The B2026 runs through the village and the houses lie either along this, together with the Royal Oak pub, or on the various rural lanes and roads that branch off the main road. The School, Village Hall and Holy Trinity Church all lie along the 300m cul-de-sac of Church Lane.

Crockham Hill is a great community and has a reputation for being a very friendly and hospitable village, where everyone gets a warm welcome!

The location offers convenient transport links by both the motorway and the railway. Crockham Hill is approximately 25 miles south of London (about three miles beyond the M25 between junctions 5 and 6), between Edenbridge (4 miles), Oxted (4 miles), and Westerham (3 miles). 


Other local population centres are also within easy reach, for example Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead to the south, Sevenoaks to the east, Bromley and Orpington to the north, and Redhill and Reigate to the west. Gatwick airport is just under 30 minutes away by car.

There are excellent train connections to London - three trains an hour from Oxted, Hurst Green or Edenbridge to Victoria or London Bridge, and four fast trains an hour from Sevenoaks (seven miles away) to various London stations. 

The pub, The Royal Oak, is well supported by locals and regularly frequented by groups of ramblers.  In addition, two notable National Trust properties are close to Crockham Hill. Chartwell, the home of Sir Winston Churchill and Quebec House, the home of General Wolfe are located near to or in Westerham.

Varied secondary schooling, including Kent Grammar Schools, can be found nearby with excellent bus or train services.
