An exciting opportunity has arisen for an approachable, empathetic and visionary leader to make their mark and lead Ethelbert Road Primary School.

We are seeking a charismatic and dynamic individual who will offer empathetic leadership to our staff, and who will ensure that every child is nurtured, supported and enabled to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. We are looking for someone who will continue to respect and support our existing values, have the insight to recognise what already works well and who has their own unique vision for our Schools future progress and success.

We are an ‘Outstanding’ school, since October 2014, with a supportive Governing Body who recognise the challenges of taking on a successful school and that will strive to support a new Headteacher in their continued professional development, enabling and encouraging them to develop new ideas and a future vision for the School.

Our fantastic location in the historic market town of Faversham, along with our excellent school facilities contribute to our joyful, educational and creative working environment. We enjoy close relationships with all our families and we are well supported by our local community.

Our children and staff enjoy the huge range of activities we have offered in the past and will undoubtedly respond enthusiastically to further developments. You will have the opportunity to develop a broad and balanced curriculum, supported by a hardworking, dedicated and diversely skilled staff team, who are ready for the School’s next phase.
