High Brooms is part of the Southborough and High Brooms ward, situated to the northeast of Tunbridge Wells, and forms part of this larger urban area. It is a diverse, lively area with a strong sense of community spirit and identity. 

St Matthews Church is an active hub, offering playgroups, clubs for both primary and secondary aged children as well as social events for all. It is well situated, enjoying easy access to central Tunbridge Wells, St John’s Sports Centre, Tunbridge Wells Retail Park, High Brooms train station and the recently improved A21. Tunbridge Wells is a great place to live.  It has all the advantages of an independent and relaxed country town, while being within an hour of both London and the South Coast, with easy access to the M25. 
The town is well-served by a great range of primary and secondary schools, which means that this is a fantastic place for families to live. It has a wide range of both independent and high street shops, some fantastic restaurants, a lively music scene, a farmers’ market, the historic “Pantiles” area, and beautiful commons.
