Are you passionate about children’s learning and development? Can you further raise high standards of learning, teaching and achievement? Are you a strategic, focused and inspirational leader? Can you motivate staff to deliver even more effective learning experiences?
If your answer to all of these questions is yes, 180 children, our staff, parents and governors would be delighted to hear from you.
Our outstanding and popular school is at the heart of the vibrant, creative Whitstable community, just five minutes’ walk from the busy high street and working harbour. We are currently oversubscribed, with six classes from Reception to Year 2, and 180 children in total.
Our staff team is dedicated and energetic, committed to encouraging the children’s self confidence and passion for learning. Because of the staff’s continuous hard work and our innovative curriculum, we ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We enjoy a good relationship with local junior schools and want our new leader to recognise the importance of this and to help us maintain and develop our place within the community.
(Make sure you have a look at the Headteacher portraits in the photo gallery to see if you would meet the children’s expectations!)
