We are seeking a keen and adaptable Bursar to work with our School Office team from September 2022. Our school is a happy and busy environment with a staff team who are dedicated and passionate about their work.

We need a team player who can work 28 hours a week term time and 2 pro-rata weeks during the school holidays, Days to be agreed at interview.

The Bursar is a senior member of staff, liaising with our School Leadership Team and attending some Governors' meetings, You will need to be able to be both proactive and reactive to the needs of the school, manage the school's budget and financial systems, and ensure our buildings are well maintained and capital projects are completed effectively and efficiently. Both the Site Manager and IT Technician report directly to this role.

Although the school staff team is small, there is a strong and active network of Bursars in the Sevenoaks Primary Partnership, who work collaboratively on school issues and projects.

You will have excellent organisational skills, be a great communicator, keep calm, be professional and have a great sense of humour.
