Second in charge of MFL Department

We are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and inspiring second in charge of our MFL Department to assist in this important area of the curriculum from September.  This role is to assist the Head of Department in building a team which can provide high quality teaching and learning in the MFL Department.  The second in charge will also take specific responsibility for aspects of the Department’s work.  This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join this outstanding school.  The successful candidate will have ambition and innovation and will have a passion for teaching either Spanish, German and/or French with a preference for Spanish, and be committed to promoting high quality teaching and learning within this department.  Applicants need to have experience of teaching MFL to A level standard.

 

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls is a very successful selective girls’ school of 1220 students with a mixed sixth form of approximately 340.  Since July 2019 we have been appointed by the Department for Education as a Computing Hub in recognition of the expertise the school has evidenced in Computing Education and will take a lead in training teachers across the south east in the delivery of Computing.
