The governors at St Thomas’ are looking to appoint a School Business Manager who has significant experience of financial and HR systems preferably within a school setting. The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent communication skills, providing support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. To have a Business Manager Accreditation would be desirable but not essential, but a willingness to undertake CPD is essential. 

A detailed job description is attached. The successful applicant does not need to be Catholic, but will need to uphold the ethos of the school.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and actively encouraged. The Headteacher will be happy to show you round the school and discuss the role in further detail.

This position is being offered on Kent Range 10 (£34,351 FTE / £30,573 pro rata), 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

St Thomas' Catholic Primary School is a Voluntary-Aided school (we are not part of a multi-academy trust).

We are a one-form entry school and currently have a roll of 210 pupils, organised into 7 year groups, Foundation Stage through to Year 6.
