The Preston and Wingham Primary Schools Federation is seeking to appoint two teaching assistants one at each school. The post at Wingham will be a SEN support position working with children with autism and additional learning needs. The post at Preston will be a general classroom teaching assistant in a Year 4/5 class. The successful candidates will ideally have experience in working with primary school children although continuous support and further training will be provided.

Both Preston and Wingham schools are highly committed to providing the very best opportunities to each and every pupil in order that they can achieve of their best across the curriculum. Preston Primary is a small rural school set in the village of Preston approximately 10 miles from Canterbury. The school is federated with nearby Wingham Primary School and the two schools work closely together.

Preston Primary has 5 classes and consequently most classes cater for two year groups. Our ethos respects the individuality of each child and our staff, parents and governors work as a team to provide a secure and stimulating environment which enables each child to develop into confident, caring individuals.
