We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our team of Learning Mentors to start as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic person to make a difference to the lives of children and young people. The role will include the support of KS2,3&4 pupils both within the classroom and 1:1 intervention sessions. It will be highly desirable if applicants can demonstrate an ability to contribute to the wider School community. We offer a unique teaching and learning environment, committed staff and pupils and excellent career development opportunities.

Term time only plus 5 CPD days, 37 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm (4pm - Friday).
Salary at Kent Range 5:  pro-rata £16964.00 - £17970.70 (FTE £19723.00 - £20,893.00) plus SEN payment £1323.00

A*- C grades in Maths and English GCSE are essential.

 

 

Information about the school

The Orchard School caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with social, emotional, mental health difficulties and associated learning difficulties. Recently judged Good by Ofsted, the PAN is 93. Our catchment covers East Kent although pupils also attend from outside the area.
