West Heath School is looking for creative, approachable, reliable, enthusiastic and forward thinking people to join its outstanding care team.

As a member of the residential team you will provide a high quality needs led service to children and young people at the School by adopting a child centred approaches that fosters self-awareness, personal growth and gives each child the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices.

 

Creative – you see alternative ways to get things done with the children.

Approachable – children feel able to approach you and talk to you.

Reliable – the children you support, their families and the team know they can depend on you.

Enthusiastic – your willingness to engage and support children remains positive even at difficult times.

 

Experience of working with children and young people is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.  The applicant must have already Level 3 NVQ/Diploma qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to undertake Level 3 Diploma qualification in Health and Social Care.

Term Time only (39 weeks) 1.00pm – 11.30pm Mon-Thurs and working every 3rd Friday 10.30am to 4.30pm
