Our teaching assistants are highly skilled and play an active and valuable role in shaping our children's learning experiences, in partnership with our teachers.  We can offer a professional and friendly setting, with people who work hard to make Tunbury a very special place to be.

We are looking for a new Teaching Assistant to join our middle phase, working in Years 2-4.  This is a full-time, permanent position, with the hours of work being 35 hours per week, 8.30am-4.00pm, term-time only.

Teaching assistants work across year groups and phases to support all children, including those with SEND, as well as providing class-based support.  Children with SEND at Tunbury experience an inclusive, flexible curriculum. They learn in a nurturing environment in which they are supported to fulfil their potential.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and hold GCSEs in English and Mathematics at Grade C or equivalent.  You will be able to uphold the school’s positive image within the community and want to make a difference to our children’s lives.
