Orchards Academy is excited to be recruiting an experienced English teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire and motivate pupils, have the confidence to share best practice and work in a positive and innovative department.  A proven track record at key stage 4 or 5 is essential to this post. 

The successful candidate will work across the whole ability range at KS3 and KS4.

Amongst other things this individual must;

  • Be passionate about English and the opportunities it offers pupils.
  • Have a determination to succeed
  • Be a reflective practitioner
  • Having an understanding of the GCSE specification is desirable.
  • Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of students.
  • Proven track record of outcomes.
