 This is a wonderful time to join the Spanish department which is increasing the uptake of languages across all key stages. The Spanish department continues to enjoy it’s efficient marking, feedback and homework policies that maximize impact on pupil outcomes while respecting staff workload. Subject specific CPD and training is delivered within departments weekly with whole school teaching model training delivered in morning briefings. The Malling School MFL department is participating with training and external collaborative work with national languages experts and outstanding schools.

Information about the school

A mixed 11-19 co-educational High School of 1000 pupils serving the historic market town of West Malling and surrounding villages. The school is set in pleasant rural surroundings and has its own lake and extensive grounds. It was completely re-built in September 2007 and therefore has outstanding facilities.

West Malling is close to the county town of Maidstone and has excellent rail links to London and Ashford International (for the Continent).
