Temple Hill Primary Academy is looking for a new and experienced teacher to join a vibrant, hard-working, excellent team of teachers to cover maternity leave. This is a fixed term appointment until 31/12/2022.

Temple Hill Primary Academy works closely with the other schools in The Galaxy Trust (Fleetdown Primary Academy, Oakfield Primary Academy and West Hill Primary Academy) and all are situated within Dartford. With approx 2800 pupils across the four schools there are a great number of opportunities for developing the best provision within the area.

Every teacher is entitled to the best possible CPD. No teacher is ever left to plan alone.  Reducing teacher workload and improving teacher well-being is a priority.  Governance arrangements fully support the development of teachers, enabling them to concentrate on teaching and learning.  A high priority is placed on developing the deeper learning of basic skills, whilst at the same time developing a broad and balanced curriculum of foundation subjects.  There are excellent opportunities for future career development across our schools.

What can you expect when joining Temple Hill Primary Academy?

  • A leadership team that challenges and supports.
  • Plenty of opportunities to have a voice to influence school development.

What we expect from teachers in our schools:

  • The skill to keep the child at the centre of everything they do.
  • An ability to see the best in every child.
  • Hard-working, loyal, professional teachers that actually want to teach!
  • To work as a team and be proud of collective as well as individual achievements.
  • A high standard of English and maths knowledge.
  • A passion for another area of the curriculum.
