Due to our continuing expansion, we are currently looking to appoint a Mid Day Supervisor to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated team.  The hours of work are 12.5hrs per week, 11.15am - 1.45pm Monday to Friday, term time only.  Your role will involve:

  • Supporting the children during the lunchtime period.
  • Ensuring a happy and safe playtime.
  • Encouraging good table manners.
  • Supervising games and play equipment.
  • Administering First aid.

Singlewell school has a warm, family feel and is situated in a pleasant, leafy site on the outskirts of Gravesend. The school has been expanded to two form entry from September 2016 and had a new building constructed. We are now at full capacity with two classes in each year group from Reception through to Year 6. All classes have support assistants. We are very lucky to have modern buildings and facilities and spacious grounds.

Our Ofsted inspection recognised that Singlewell is a Good school. Progress and attainment are high across the school and teaching is good. It stated that attendance is high, behaviour is good and children enjoy coming to school. Pupils are eager to learn and work enthusiastically together. There are very positive relationships between pupils and staff.
