Want to join a school with an outstanding reputation for supporting children with SEND?

We are looking for a dynamic member of staff to join our very talented team of specialist TAs and Key Workers.  The role involves working to facilitate the provision for a Year 2 child with social communication and interaction difficulties (ASD) and a Pathelogical Demand Avoidance profile. Applicants should have an understanding of these difficulties and awareness of the strategies that are successful in supporting a child to be the best that they can be.  Further training can be provided.

Are you:

  • Passionate about securing positive outcomes for children with additional needs?
  • Highly motivated, organised and flexible in the way you work to best meet children's needs?
  • An effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents and professionals?

Then you sound perfect for us!

We can offer you an outstanding school filled with highly skilled and forward thinking teachers, led by a driven leadership team. Our children share our passion and enthusiasm for learning and are well behaved and achieve highly.  We have excellent relationships with our families and other professionals and value the development of our staff.

Please do contact our friendly school office should you wish to arrange a visit or speak with our SENCo about this role.  Please see the attached person specification and ensure your application explains how you meet the criteria we are looking for.

This is a part time role (Monday - Tuesday 8:30am – 3:30pm, Term Time only). Please be advised that this role is linked directly to the child's individual provision and subject to the continued successful application of High Needs Funding; it is therefore a fixed term contract for one year in the first incidence.

We take safeguarding our children extremely seriously and so applicants to this role will be subject to the usual rigorous DBS and reference checks.
