We are seeking to appoint individuals to work as part of a hardworking, skilled and enthusiastic SEN team, providing support to a number of students with additional needs in both KS3 and KS4 as a member of a team transforming provision for our most vulnerable students.

The role is term-time only and can accommodate an element of flexible working within the hours of the Academy day. 

The applicant will have responsibility for:

  •  A number of key students for whom they will be responsible for supporting in class
  • Working 1:1 with some of our students with more complex needs
  • Withdrawing some students from class for interventions
  • Maintaining and reviewing students personalised plans alongside the SENCO
  • To feedback to the SENCO/Inclusion Director
  • To hold termly review meetings for children on caseload with the SENCO
  • To engage in Professional Learning and development
  • To take an active role in developing your knowledge of SEN and the meeting the children’s needs

 

You will be joining a very skilled and knowledgeable team and will have a lot of support from your colleagues. We are a very welcoming team that have the children at the very centre of all our thinking. We expect candidates to have the following qualities:
