We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

  • Recognise that our current education system needs to radically change to better prepare our young people for the 21st century
  • Are able to take advantage of the latest technology to support modern, 21st century learning
  • Want to develop their own practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system
  • Want to develop children as life-long, curious learners
  • Want to build strong relationships with children that facilitate their learning
  • Want to teach in enabling environments that promote flexibility, collaboration and independence

As part of the Teaching Assistant role we require the succesful candidate to be able to accommodate covering our Breakfast Club, from 7:30am and After School Club until 6pm one day per week as required (e.g. to cover periods of absence of colleagues - advanced notice would be given)

This role is:

  • Term time only working
  • Monday to Friday
  • 30hrs per week 
  • Pro rata'd salary on KR3 (30hrs @ 43 paid weeks) will be approximately £12,520.00 gross

Location: Ashford, Kent, UK - Finberry Primary School is a growing primary school - A large, purpose-built site in Finberry Village, the school has an on-site nursery for 2,3 and 4 year olds and also hosts a Specialist Resource Provision dedicated for children with a primary need type of Autism.
