This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Early Years Manager. We are a committee run charity pre-school and we operate 38 weeks of the year.

  • You will be responsible for the pre-school, including management of the staff and the day to day running of the pre-school.
  • To be the designated safeguarding lead for the pre-school
  • To lead the staff team in delivering high quality care following the settings policies and procedures.
  • To be responsible for the effectiveness of the setting amd the wellbeing of the childen and the staff.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in early years care and education
  • Two years experience in a early years setting
  • The ability to lead and support colleagues
  • Sound IT skills and ability to use Microsoft office applications, social media platforms etc
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Ability to multi-task and establish good relationships with parents, staff and external agencies
  • Detailed knowledge of child development age 2-5 years
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
  • This would suit an enthusiastic and inspirational individual
