An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of School Business Manager at Christ Church CEP Academy in Folkestone.  The role is full-time at 37 hours per week and includes working all year round.  This is a strategic role at Christ Church CEP Academy and you will be responsible for leading on the operational aspect of the school.

A job description and personal specification is included with this advert but in summary, we are looking for:

  • An organised, efficient individual who can work to deadlines and be effective in their role.
  • Has an understanding of the Academy Finance System and Procedures.
  • Will support the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team and Governors in the development of the school.
  • Has an awareness and understanding of HR including setting contracts and dealing with payroll systems.
  • Will lead the operation of the school including working alongside the Site Manager to ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
  • Will be Company Secretary.
  • Someone with a good sense of humour and is a team player.
