Performing Arts/ Drama (Maternity Cover)

We are currently looking to appoint a suitable candidate for the position of Teacher of Drama with head of department responsibility in Performing Arts to cover maternity leave. This post is part time for 3 days per week.

You will be suitably qualified with QTS in a relevant subject. You will also be emotionally intelligent, highly motivated and be willing to take measured risks to deliver an innovative, creative and engaging curriculum that develops students’ thinking skills, progress and aspirations.

You will have previous experience and a track record of success in teaching drama or the performing arts to GCSE level and will be able to describe how you have achieved this success. You will have experience of or a keen understanding of department leadership and what this involves.

This post is also ideal for someone who requires flexible, part time working who has previous drama teaching or department leadership experience.
