Would you like to be part of an innovative, outward looking school team? We are looking for an outstanding, self motivated teacher to join our federation and become an integral part of our journey to outstanding. We are looking for a teacher for key stage 1. Our staff work within supportive and fun teams, but most importantly, teams that work together to provide the best opportunities for our children.

We are a values led school that encourages ALL children to be the best they can be. We believe that children learn best when they are are taught in context and outcomes are purposeful. The team at Seal have created a curriculum that provides the children with the best learning experiences, allowing them to become experts in all they do. We do not use schemes of work or worksheets, but provide real life learning opportunities and as a result, create independent learners.

As a result of our innovative curriculum, Seal produce academic results that put us in the top 10% of schools nationally; however we believe in a holistic education and view children's emotional wellbeing with equal importance.

We would love to recruit someone that is eager to develop themselves as a practitioner and become the very best teacher they can be. Our staff work really hard but also reap the rewards. The senior leadership team are supportive and work alongside all members of staff to ensure their well being is looked after and their professional development enhanced.

Information about the school

Seal Church of England Primary School is a growing village school in delightful rural surroundings, close to Sevenoaks. Seal federated with Four Elms Primary School in 2018 creating The Inspire Federation.

The Inspire Federation Curriculum is based on four core beliefs that we share about learning and education: academic excellence, metacognition (learning to learn), character education and personalisation. Our teachers plan learning experiences based on their children's interests.

We run a successful Forest School and have a School Farm. We are passionate about outdoor learning and all pupils up to and including year 5 receive a weekly morning or afternoon forest school sessions. All children receive farm education learning about the animal husbandry and behaviours of our wonderful farm animals.

We value everyone’s skills and strengths and are fully inclusive. We are very proud to have been re-accredited our Gold Unicef UK Rights Respecting Schools Award.

There is strong staff team who are forward looking and highly motivated.

We have a rising roll which currently stands at 380.
