We have a vacancy for a part-time Teaching Assistant here with us at Sandwich Infant School. You will work alongside a strong team of teachers and teaching assistants, supporting a child with an autism diagnosis in Key Stage One. You will be supporting emotional regulation and with their engagement in lessons.   

Experience of working with children with a range of Communication and Interaction, and SEMH needs would be beneficial, but not essential.   

This position is Monday-Friday, term time only, 8:45am to 12:30pm. (18.75 hours per week). Closing date for applications is Wednesday 8th December. Interviews will take place week beginning 13th December, for a January start.

Sandwich Infant School is a two-form entry school housed in a Victorian building. We enjoy close links with the community, the church, local nurseries and Sandwich Junior School. We are part of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk) and are a member of the STAR (Sandwich Town and Rural) Alliance.
