Advert

We are seeking an ambitious, forward thinking teacher to join our team of positive, noisy and excellent practitioners.  We’ve been on a journey and are now a good school.  The children’s behaviour is great and they are enthusiastic and willing to learn.  We are working hard to make sure they achieve their full potential and we are looking for a teacher who has the drive to ensure they achieve their best.  We have a new curriculum, for which planning is all written and structures in place to support workload.  Passionate leadership; friendly, team-focused staff and a learning environment ripe for development mean that Cage Green is an exciting place to be.  We want teachers who have something to say and can help us drive our school forwards.  There is the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate.

We are looking for a teacher for Year Two.   The role is a full time one, but we will consider part time applicants too and we will happily welcome strong ECT candidates to our school.  The position is available immediately, but for the right candidate a start in January is possible.

In return, we can offer you:

  • A structured programme of training to further your career. Our friendly trust runs in house training for aspiring middle leaders and aspiring senior leaders.
  • A ‘Wellbeing Day’ each year which is a day you can take off when you choose, to support your wellbeing.
  • A contribution towards gym membership
  • A contribution towards our staff Christmas celebration.

If you want to know more about the school, I would be very pleased to meet you and take you on a socially distanced tour.  Once you see our calm, focused children and the enormous potential they represent, I am sure you will feel the same passion for this school that our staff do.  Please contact me, Joanna Styles, Headteacher on 01732 354325.  Officially, we are a new school because we reopened as part of Connect Schools Academy Trust in July 2019.  As a result, we don’t have an Ofsted report.  The one that is listed for Cage Green is an old report and no longer represents the school in any aspect.

Early applications are encouraged and Cage Green Primary School reserves the right to close the vacancy if a suitable candidate is found.

Previous applicants need not apply.  If you have not been invited to attend an interview within two weeks of the closing date, you have not been successful on this occasion, feedback on unsuccessful applications is not given.
