We are looking for a qualified teacher seeking to work in a friendly, supportive and aspirational school setting. Furthermore, we are looking for someone driven to make a difference to children’s wellbeing and education; through accelerating progress of learning, plugging gaps in learning and making learning fun.

The right candidate will have knowledge and experience of teaching English to an oustanding level in Key Stage 1 & 2, whilst also being comfortable with teaching maths to small groups if the need arises.

Initially, this role will focus on teaching English to small groups from Years 3 and 4 in the morning. The goal is to support these children in developing their English and plug any gaps that may have been caused as a result of the pandemic. In the afternoons, the role will require running English interventions for other year groups, including Years 1 and 2. There may be a requirement to provide intervention for maths.

The role will require close collaboration with the class teachers and Deputy Headteacher, to ensure the right provision and support is in place to maximise impact of learning.

A fully equipped room will be made available, which will provide the right environment for children to make accelerated progress.

The role is full time and subject to the government's covid recovery fund. As such, this role is a fixed term contract. Starting January 2022 and running through to the end of the academic year.
