The children, staff and Governors would like to meet a teaching assistant who has a passion for SEND and would like to join our school.  The position is for Term time only - 31.20 hours a week - Starting January 2022 

We are looking for someone who can work 1:1 with an SEN child within a mainstream class. Experience of using colourful semantics and delivering speech and language programs would be beneficial.

Shears Green Infant School is part of the Hornchurch Academy Trust which is a group of six schools based in Rainham, Upminster and Northfleet within the London Borough of Havering and Kent.

We are a large Infant school nestled within Northfleet just off of the A2. We have lovely outdoor learning areas including our Reception play garden, our year 1 play garden and our large forest area.

We offer wrap around care and have been awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award for our dedication to working relentlessly with parents to ensure the best care for our children.

As a feeder school to Shears Green Junior School, our transition programme and relationship with them is strong, enabling children and parents to begin their journey in the Junior School with confidence and ease.
