St Mary of Charity CE Primary School is dedicated to providing an outstanding education for all of our children. This aim means that inclusion is at the heart of our provision.

We are looking for a skilled individual to work 1:1 with a child in lower KS2. The successful candidate needs to show initiative, patience and work well as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be open to new training opportunities and will ideally have a good knowledge of phonics and an understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum. This is desirable but not required as full training will be provided if needed. Experience of working with young children with speech and communication needs is also desirbale.

The position is for 27.5 hours a week and will initially be a temporary post until the end of the 2021/22 academic year. This post will then be reviewed in line with funding.

St. Mary of Charity C of E Primary School is a 1 form entry Church of England Primary School in Faversham, with a mixed catchment area. The school became part of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Multi Academy Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk) in August 2015. The school has a hard working, friendly and committed staff team and an active Governing Body. We share our building with a Children's Centre and are lucky enough to have a large school building offering lots of space. The school has been judged as outstanding in both SIAMS 2017 and Ofsted 2018 and we continue to strive to provide the best possible education for the children in our community.

St Mary of Charity C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all trustees, staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
