The school is seeking a practical, flexible and friendly person for the post of Site Assistant at a small primary school in the village of Petham, near Canterbury.

 

The role includes a range of duties connected with security, caretaking and minor repairs of the school site. The requirements of this role will include occasional alarm call outs.

 

The successful candidate will be practical with good DIY skills, take pride in their work, and be able to observe safe working practices whilst carrying out their duties.

 

The hours of work will be 07:00am to 07:30am and 3.45pm to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday term time including inset days. There is also the requirement to work for further 4 weeks during school holiday time

Salary range is OCMAT KR3 £17769 to £18039 (pro rata). A pay award is pending.

 

This position is subject to a full background DBS check and reference checks because the successful candidate will be working in education and will come into contact with children. The successful candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
