32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)

 

We are looking for a patient and experienced teaching assistant to join our team.  The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with challenging behaviour, and will be expected to provide one-to-one support to an identified pupil for the duration of their education at Hilltop Primary Academy.  

 

The successful applicant will follow a programme of support clearly defined by the SENCO and work alongside teaching and other appropriate staff dependent on the nature of the particular needs of the pupil2.

 

Hilltop is an oversubscribed two form entry school which has the benefit of a large playing field and a heated indoor swimming pool. The Academy is part of the Skills for Life Trust where there are two Secondary Schools, three Primary Schools and an independent nursery.
