 TEACHING ASSISTANT 

 Salary:                Grade 5: £19,652 - £22,265 pa depending on experience

(actual salary £14,614 - £16,557pa)

Hours:                  32.5 hours per week for 39 weeks pa (term-time, plus 5 additional days) 

Start Date:          ASAP

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant (applications for a HLTA or Cover Supervisor role will also be considered) to join our forward thinking, and successful staff team at Stone Lodge School on a Term Time basis as soon as possible.  Our community secondary school first opened in September 2019 and is proving to be a highly popular, successful and over-subscribed school.  The school is part of Endeavour MAT.

We will be seeking:

  • A creative and engaging person who can develop a good rapport with students to support learning.
  • Proven track of working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary setting.
  • L3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or willing to study towards this qualification) Applications for a HLTA or Cover Supervisor role will be required to demonstrate requisite qualifications/skills.
  • Willingness to commit to the ethos and vision of the school including participating in the wider school community.

Stone Lodge School is one of four schools which together form Endeavour MAT. Whilst the school first opened in September 2019 with just four forms in year 7. As of September 2023, we have over 900 students including a growing 6th Form and an eight -form entry year 7 cohort.
